Organized Crime, or lack there of?

We're slowly building the Hogosha in Kusari. There isn't a large monopoly to be made in Arms dealing inside the Kusari house, and our slave business is mostly secretive (Somethine we keep hidden even from the KSP). But mainly we're beginning discussions on Human slave trafficing. We do run Artifact Convoys from Crete to Kusari.

There was once a discussion on "protection" money for foreign traders. Those that didn't want to pay, would be contracted onto a private Bounty List for AFA, and Hogosha. But some people felt this would deter most traders away from an already Xenophobic Nation, although the idea may crawl back up.

Right now our efforts are mostly aimed in Kusari. We control smuggling by basically "policing" traders and exploiting the authority and government. We claim we are just proud citizens, upholding Kusari law infront of the lawfull players, but when they arn't around, we're quite quick to anger. Anyone I see dealing in light arms (if it's not going to a Kusari police base), slaves, artifacts, synth marj, Counterfeit-software and likely some new commodities in Reuinion are promtly stopped, destroyed, or relieved of their cargo and kicked out of the system. Or a mix of a couple of the options. And why do you think most junkers rarely come into Kusari? Because they get exploited or destroyed. Junkers have a hold on the outside smuggling ring, and Hogosha have most control in Kusari. Junkers threaten the expansion, and structure we have in Kusari, and so a kind of "gang" war has been raging on.

Plus this would give the police forces more to do than put down and denounce revolutionaries all day.

Sadly our police are quite leniant.. After all shouldn't a good mob have it's police contacts? And I maintain a low radar when I'm bringing goods through other Houses.
