The war between Bretonia and Kusari

You don't seem to understand that it's horribly insulting, do you? Zygoeths was banned for being insulting. It's utterly and totally insulting to the other player on the other end of the screen. Sugar coating it makes it just that: Nicer sounding, witty, and not personal. It makes it fun, rather than insulting. That is why there is a pre-engagement RP rule, so that the RP is fun, the RP is exciting, not just "Engaging" or "Die Outcast!". You're taking the spirit of that and twisting it horribly, making the RP a bad event for the receiving side, especially when we try and make it fun, and we try and make the debates interesting and about more than just shooting each other.

It's just utterly insulting, especially when on the receiving side, and even more so when I do my best to make the RP engaging and fun so the game isn't just about pressing the right mouse button...

Why is it insulting? A fictitious character calling another fictitious character names is now insulting? Zygoeths was banned at laughing at hundreds of thousands of innocent people being killed because of their skin colour.

Now, if a fictitious Phantom character laughed at hundreds of thousands of fictitious people dying because they were a different race from him, would that earn a ban? No, it wouldn't, because Phantoms aren't nice people. The player might be, but that's irrelevant. Some of us play villains, you know.

War, especially on the scale that the Bretonian/Kusari one is at, brings out the worst of people. Calling folks 'dogeater' isn't anywhere near that stage.
