Tenacity, with 18 hardpoints on that monster, I think you could put Solaris Turrets on either end and flaks in the middle. Problem solved.

Well it's quite obvious from this response that you dont actually fly any of these ships, or you'd realise that the carrier cannot equip any flak guns.

Now Tenacity, the whole point of a Carrier is to deploy fighters. Fly with the NPCs or make a group with some Order or Corsair players.

Yes, lets take that journey to lalaland where the carrier can actually do what it's meant to and launch NPC fighters - in that imaginary world, it's perfectly balanced.

But, once again, maybe this will get through your earplugs this time - that is not possible right now. You cannot balance a ship based on it performing actions that it cant actually do. I can RP launching fighters in system chat all day long, but it doesnt stop that liberty player from kicking my backside, and it doesnt stop that swarm of BHG NPC capships from wrecking me when i'm running missions.
