Still, I think that whilst pure balance may be unrealistic, if an approval only faction gets a boost, whereas those like the Corsairs and LSF don't, it's not realistic either. If Phantoms get uber technology (which they don't seem to be getting... they could actually use a shield buster boost right now), it would have me asking why the RM and Order don't get uber tech, since they did have cloaks after all...

Of course, when non-approval factions, like Corsairs, LSF, whatever, get a boost, that only increases the instances of lolwutting in those factions, ruining it for everyone.
