i really don t understand the fuss about it... i mean - really

the fact that the order gave a battleship to be produced by the corsairs forged one of the most controversial - but also one of the deepest alliances on disco. - the osiris is not only a ship - it is a testament of this very odd, but also very strong alliance - a symbol.

take it away - and the relationship might be as hearty as between the gaians and the corairs - who almost have nothing in common.

the order should be jolly well proud on having forged such an alliance - and the osiris is a little price to pay for it. - the corsairs in return should be glad to be with such an ally. - hardly ANY alliance in sirius has ever benefited so much from each other.

outcasts/hackers? outcast/hessians? whats that compared to what binds the corsairs and the order... its nothing but money or dependencies - ... between the order and the corsairs is more ... there is trust. ( well, up to a few days ago at least )

saying "don t buy that ship without a RP reason that we decide on" might be reasonable in terms of avoiding "too many" of a type - but is in that particular case a very sensitive case.

a corsairs flying an osiris is not just flying an allied battleship... he s openly affiliating himself to be very close to the order / corsair alliance.


i m all for leaving the osiris to be a ship for BOTH factions alike. - carrier, cruiser etc. are different - but the osiris is a ship that carries a lot more weight for both factions understanding.
