Despite their great firepower and protection, dreadnoughts were increasingly vulnerable to much smaller, cheaper ordnance and craft: initially the torpedo and the naval mine, and later aircraft and the guided missile.[5]
So Battleships have always been weak against smaller, faster moving targets as they are designed for anti-capital duty. If you want to engage fighetrs ask the designers/developers if you can help them design an AEGIS cruiser or something.
