Erm, wait, we have an advantage over the rules? Can I see it? I'd love to see it....

Also, in my time being in the Phantoms, we've had two Catamarans, one who had an extensive story that was shown in a special RP request, and one who was kicked out (ZOMG people get kicked out of the Phantoms? I've never heard that!). We've had one Taiidan, which I got rid of to go along with my story, which is also played out in a special RP request. Look at that, it's like we adhere to the rules or something.

Facts :

Phantoms don't have any ZOI limitations.
Phantoms don't have to ask traders for a fee or drop, they just shoot. And kill. And become Chuckies.
Phantoms don't have to write a word in system chat before they attack. Why? Because their RP is to kill.
And these aren't my words.

I know for a fact that Dboy had a Catamaran, and I know that he wasn't kicked out.
I also know that Zelot had a Catamaran, and I can guess that he wasn't the one who was kicked out.
I know that frozen had a Catamaran, and I really don't know if he was the one who was kicked out.

You had only one Taiidan? I know that Dboy (Desecrator character) had one, and you just said you had another.

What is so different between us and any other factions on the server? We're required to have exceptional RP experience on the server, that's it...

Remember when Phantoms were shooting all traders in Sigma-13?
Do you remember what was the 'exceptional RP' reason for it?
Yeah, because traders were abusing a bugged route. Great RP.
I mean, many people supported it, because that route was really 'OMGOORP'. But that is not an excuse.

Back on topic, better guns? Well, it depends on your view of the Phantoms. If you think we're a technologically advanced faction, then we do deserve them, but if you think that Fairplay is better than Roleplay, then, forget it.

So, you are technologically advanced? Well I don't really know that, so I can't think that you are.
Your whole RP is blurred for RP reasons. I just know your characters have some magical powers, that's all.
So, is it a bad RP to beat a Phantom? Should we all just die because it's your RP to win?

And no, I don't think RP is better then fairplay. Fairplay keeps us all together. RP is just nice.
Fairplay was always my favorite, so no point in arguing about it with me.
If you can't RP and be fair at the same time then I don't think you should exist at all. Disappear. Harsh? Yes.

Hell, I just want my Stinger with 2 Nomads 2 Blue Blaze a Tizona and a Firestaker back instead of this Raven's Claw (Or whatever it's called now).

Problem is, however, when your buddy in a Sabre has full Krakens + Inferno.
And then you tell me you don't have any advantages?
I don't know for another faction that could use both Tizonas and Krakens. Not on the same ship though, but who cares?
Not even Keepers.

Now, just to take a moment to adjust my tone to the normal again. Ok, that's it.

All right. We have here some arguments like : "Keepers have better equip, why not Phantoms?"
Who said it's alright that Keepers have better equipment? I didn't. I'm against that one too.

Outcasts did have better equipment then most factions, yes. But they had some flaws too, or should.
For example, I find that Outcasts should not use Debs at all. Just Inferno. No one respects that, but I still think they should use their own shieldbuster.
They also lacked a GB in 4.84, which was a big advantage for Sairs with their Lunchybox.

All I wanted to say is that you can't ask for better equipment because it fits your RP and because you are outnumbered.
Even if you do have better equipment it should be close to others.
It shouldn't be 5% better then the best regular gun (Kraken) because then it will be 50% better then some crappy Hellfurry.
I'm not a conservative ******* which thinks all guns should be the same.
Sure, make it different. Make it 900 speed with low damage. Or very high damage with 500 speed.
Or normal with high range. But don't get any crazy ideas that people will just watch and nod if you make it uber in all stats.
They won't. I might be the first one to flame you here, but I'm actually the one who is sick and tired of these threads.
And it's a fact they will just pop out if you keep that attitude of being superior. Be superior in RP.
I don't dislike you. I know how you feel when people flame you.
I was flamed too as a member of BSG, the most flamed faction in those times.
With arguments like : "You're an import", "You suck", "You're pvp whores".
I'v even had accusations for being a "Viper whore" in system chat in O-alpha.

All in all, I don't hate you guys, I find you a nice and refreshing addition to this universe.
But please keep your own RP in line with others.
I'v seen too many superior characters in my time (Mariko.Kietan being one of them) and I don't really remember any of them asking for some extra-uber equipment to fulfill their RP.
I can make a "Super-invisible-invincible-character" and say that it perfectly fits my roleplay to win every single battle because my RP is in my eyes exceptional.

You are Phantoms. No one made you to be Phantoms, you wanted it.
You knew you will always be outnumbered when you joined. You knew everyone will want a Phantom kill.
Everyone knew this. If it is time for you to ask for better equipment instead of searching for new members, then this all just plainly sucks.

That's why I want 0%. Not for my sake, but for your sake.
And then you can point out to that and say "Look, we wanted normal, regular guns, we're not PVP whores".
This way it will be :
"You're PVP whores"
"No we're not"
"Yes you are *points at this thread*"
"It's our RP!!!"
"Great RP,lolomgrofl"

Avoid it. Trust me.
