Jumphole is imo just one side of tunel, there isnt any time delay between entering in and going out.

BUT who know what is going to happen if someone enter an unstabile jumphole and is unlucky enough to do it in exactly same time when exit (second) JH dissapear for few centuries:)I think your story is believable.

You even dont need to destro our ship ... there are fling many ships which were outdated even few hundreds years ago like Kusari explorer or Slave liner.
