Lars sits with his feet on the desk, head back, snoring. He had spent the day moving furniture and cursing the personel division. The pling from the terminal as the message from Trenton arrived woke him up with a start. It was dated two days ago, he noticed as he wiped drool from his cheek.

"Trust Universal to create delays where they aren't possible," he mumbled.

"What's that?" Nick, the company big cheese of finance, walked into the office with a large stack of papers.

"Hmm? Oh hi, Nick. What have you got for me?"

"Rental agreement. It's lengthy. Fortunately they neglected to include any terms that might hiner our plans." Nick smirked.

"Good, good. Apropos my plans, I think we'll be ready to proceed sooner than expected. What do you think?" Lars asked as he swiveled his terminal to show Nick the message.

Nick barely glanced at the screen before replying, "thirty percent, won't be a problem. I'll make the arrangements."

"Fantastic, just don't let them DSE politicians get wind of it."

"Don't be silly."
