Name: Ezekiel Jefferson, MD, MPH
Background: I am a Psychiatrist by profession; the LPI hires me to draw up psychological profiles of suspected criminals. I've dealt with every kind of patient, ranging from the murderer to the Nomad-infested to the kleptomaniacal to the attempted suicidal to the smuggler. Hearing their stories was and still is interesting, but an insatiable curiosity combined with a bad case of insomnia led me to pursue a different hobby during the night; each evening allows me to make multiple trips between New York and the Omicrons before I go to bed. Ever since I started my night job, I've been having the best sleep of my life, even if the trips do cut out some of the time available for sleep.
I've dealt in several black-market trades, including Artifacts, Cardamine, Slaves, Light Arms, and a couple of new commodities that are probably only legal until the Houses discover them (namely wine and tobacco). I know the typical routes like the back of my hand and would be glad to share them should I be accepted.
Through my activities, I have accumulated 50 million credits that I will put forth to help fund this endeavor; all I ask in return is to be permitted to continue piloting my Border Worlds Transport.
I have a good relationship with an active member of the LPI and some experience in dodgin pirates and law enforcement alike.
