Hitboxing that model is a pain... All in all it's a battleship that has the best firepower/size ratio... it's small yet packs 14 forward turrets. You don't need heavy weapons on it. You can dish out 106k's of damage per second on primaries alone... that firepower can be sustained for 2 minutes and after that it drops to 84kdmg/s In those two minutes you've dealt 12.7M of damage...

That roughly brings down any battleship... and that pesky battleship shield is drained in 9 seconds... so after that you have about 12M damage in the next 110 seconds before running out of full firepower...

Meanwhile Osiris is a diffrent beast alltogether... with a bit of skill you can deminish it's firepower to 10 forward firing turrets... that gives it 90k of firepower (be it front or reverse) and that's on full primaries... This power is pretty much sustainable on order primaries.. thou corsair osiris will scramble for extra power... So osiris needs to deal roughly 6M damage to down a cap8 bhg bs... it needs 65 seconds for the hull and some 11 seconds for the shield... thus 67 seconds all in all not counting shield regen.

BHG BS needs to dispose of 6.4M wich it does so in... 9 seconds for shield and 60 seconds for hull... 69 seconds... bhg guns have more range and more speed than what order provides. Results are fairly predictable... If you cruise up to an osiris to point blank range fire at it for roughly 70-90 seconds it dies before you die. No skill required whatsoever.

One would think that osiris is an excellent battleship and can dodge shots at maximum range, but at range where osiris can dodge (roughly 2.5k) bhg bs can dodge aswell while delivering far more firepower with projectiles that have higher speed... And who says you have to follow that said osiris in to your doom? You can just hit cruise and fight another day... Or call a single bomber. I bet even a Manta could make a diffrence.

If anything given raw numbers BHG BS should be given a nerf... It is roughly as good as osiris in all other important areas such as dodging SN and such.

Naturaly it suffers greatly when pited against say Legate. that has 7.2M hitpoints, and can chrun out 126k dps... overpowering such a ship will require numbers not just 14 forward firing turrets (wich btw is how many legate has) that is a battle where you will need great skill and range to win. And at range you can win. If flown like you would fly an osiris at maximum range, and pelet your legate enemy you probably could win... but most often than not you'll need backup to win a heavy battleship. (points at bombers)

Legate and OC Dread are so similar, i won't bother to compare Dread to BHG BS...

BHG BS is the most firepwnsome Light battleship out there it can overpower any other. All you have to do is setup your combat run nice enough and not let your target get away from you. While all other light battleships require great skill to operate properly...

ok...why Osiris is so weak compare to BHG BS?..ffs Osiris has only 80K more hull and have 2 less turret? Osiris and BHG BS has almost the same size, except BHG BS is abit taller on the side but i dont think that matters..80K hull is only 2 shot with 10 Order MK2, but with 2 more Order MK2 it can deal way more hull damage than having that extra 80K hull..
