I'm not sure I get your point: just because there's one aspect of the game (powertrading) that discourages RP we shouldn't take out another (repfixing)?

The difference between the two is that trading in and of itself isn't OORP, it's just that some decide to play it that way. Rep fixing, on the other hand, is almost never RP, no matter how you slice it.

Yes ... you missed the point. Sorry ... I can't spell everything out for you ... but I will try.

The logic to this "/droprep" command is to setup your character quickly. With the same logic ... power trading gets you your ship quicker (part of the whole setup process). So ... lets just make those ships only 10 mil and you'll be happy. Sorry ... more sarcasm ... do I need to explain more?

And no ... trading is not OORP ... again you missed the point. These power traders I speak of are those that run silent (ie: they do not role play or even acknowledge other players trying to interact with them). They typically will say, "kill me its cheaper than paying." So ... these power traders in effect avoid role play ... and they take routes that ... by the way ... their reputations SHOULD be hostile with ... ahem ... Diamond / Niobium Run comes to mind. I mean really ... a trader running diamonds through Chugoku? Don't you know that traders supporting the Kusari government would be hostile to the Blood Dragons who are mortal enemies with the Kusari government?
