Ain't happening, Zapp, and we both know why. All that talk of independence, attempts to make second nomad factions has gone the hell wrong. If some people want to get around it, to find easier path, then we both know it will not work. After all at the end of the day it is still a restricted type of faction, just like Phantoms, Coalition and Das Wilde.

As for those using Nomad Trial ID and allying with the Oracles. The whole idea of the Oracles, while good as it is and I've already said I do support it, is still in it's infancy. It is risky, no doubt, but so I believe it is a risk worth taking to look how it'll play out in the next couple of weeks. So if gets off the ground nicely and there will not be problems, then I am sure things can be altered, relaxed a bit in some of the updates, few things added and such, to make it all better. Give it a spin so we'll see how to make it better. I am all for making it better, but the precautions still take place first.

Understand that there are a lot of caveats possibly there, ways to have people screw it deliberately and such and that has happened before several times already. The ambiguity surrounding the ship has had to be fixed, it is something that pretty much everyone understands considering how many times it was asked what ID should be used and what restrictions are there, and how many times there were people shooting things left and right saying their ID does permit them to do that, deciding they can pick any public ID they wanted, and because they didn't have any intention to join the Keepers they believed they are an except to self-defense rule. Alright, nobody forces a player to join a player faction, but the rules had to be tightened in this area, as it was concluded. We relied on honesty of players, hoping they would not abuse that, alas some did. If it cannot be self-regulated then it gets limited explicitly.

Technically for now this means that those with morph and ID and those with human ships still can interact, not much has changed in this area, albeit they can't directly help each other. The ID itself doesn't force you to fight anyway, you will not find that clause in it or in any other ID, but it does prevent from direct alliances. So, we'll be watching closely how this all will unfold, what problems will appear, listening to suggestions and applying changes when necessary. Ultimately it's a move towards solving the ambiguity surrounding the ship and preventing abuse. It is not there to hinder/handicap genuinely good ideas, although it may look so at first glance.

Any type? Seeing as capital ships can't dock to the Shrine this puts them out of question, as trading IDs is prohibited. Now what ships do you suggest?

Nomad Trial ID can be expanded if necessary, but with great precaution, so when you suggest something for it - imagine how can that change be possibly abused and iron in out to leave no ambiguity and holes open for misuse.
