I looked at this as being a joke at first, left, then came back and re-read. This is actually a good idea, and your right, it is going to lead there the way its going.


But may I point out a few things for future reference.....

1. Factions. Only a certain number of factions would be available to choose from. This excludes Wild, Nomads, and Guard reps. And possibly a lot more(Coalition, neutral, admin, blah blah blah)

2. Price. This will definitely have a price. Think of it more as a bribe. A common bribe costs up to almost a million credits that I have seen so far., so the price should be around 1-2 million per usage.

3. Convenience. This will provide people a way to jump straight into RPing instead of having to spend hours on end just to create the character. Another thing this will help is if someone chooses to take a character, and convert it to something else(ex. Corsair to Outcast). In that example, it would take a very good bit of time to do. Time that some players don't have.

4. Abuse. Yes, in a way, even with the things listed above, this could be abused. Example: bounties. Someone places a bounty on someone saying they have a outcast id/iff, and by the time a BH gets to him, its something completely different. I know, lame example of abuse, but it would probably get done.

Im sure there are TONS of other points that I haven't listed, but I don't feel like going into them right this second. All I know is it would be good to have, but I doubt it will be implemented. And as said, "Might as well take that inch and stretch it into a mile already."
