You are mixing up racism and roleplay for no good here.
When you say British, Japanese, American, Spanish, German or any other nationality you are leaving roleplay - period.
You don't know how my characters think, nor how other players' characters think. There's plenty of reasons to call Bretonians 'British', Gallics 'French', Hispanics 'Hispanic'...
If I roleplay a character who says such things, then that's fine.
Hell, there's even an America Base.
Now, if I called a Corsair 'Lithuanian', because the player is Lithuanian, THAT would be wrong.
