First off yes I do play on the server though I have rarely seen any capital ship combat and have never engaged any capital ships myself however, i am basing my points off of real life examples. In real life bombers and missiles are the bane of their existance thy are made to bombard targets and engage other vessels as themselves. Thus why they usually have escorts as they are usually destroyed otherwise.

If you want capital ships to be able to defend against bombers then give Light Fighters the ability to defend against capital ships.
