Dear sirs,

It was never my intention to pontificate, I often find that when one sticks the rabid weasel of politics down one's trousers, one tends to get bitten somewhere pinkish.

However, since the LSF feels the need to climb upon a soap box and decry the wolves in the woods, I wonder if I should return in kind? But after much consideration I have decided that to use SCRA propaganda would not serve at this time. Instead, why don't I simply use Libertonian propaganda? I mean, after all, freedom of speech seems to be one of the great bastions of the Libertonian legal system.

Of course that brings me to one very interesting point, what legal system? It seems that of late Liberty is little more than a state run by the articles of Summary Justice. In the nation of Liberty, which was founded upon such wonderful tenants as the right to Due Process... Your Police, Security and Naval forces have degenerated from law officials into Street Justices.

The role of the LPI/LSF/LN "Officers" combines those of judge and police officer, thus avoiding long legal wrangles by allowing for criminals to be tried and sentenced on the spot. The very notion implies the impotence of a court/legal system and invalidates a constitution. Stripping away one of the most important institutions of a 'Libertonian Democracy', the role of the Judiciary.

How long, I wonder, does the average LPI officer undertake to fulfill this role of Judge, Jury and executioner? How long must a LSF Agent study the law to override the pesky need for public defenders? And where, in the official oath of a Libertonian Naval Officer, does it say that he can overrule the Appellate court?

Manhattan itself has descended to the level of state-sanctioned butchery on a mass scale, while officers cavort and plunder, extort and pillage the very people they are sworn to protect, leaving the public with little to no recourse.

They tore up your constitution the moment they donned their badges.

You may note, that I say nothing of the Federal Police or the Constabulary. They have their own issues. But they are at least honest about their dealings. I have personally witnessed the RFP disposing of Cardamine after an interdiction. And the Constabulary make no effort to hide the fact that they sell off their plundered loot, in fact the process is detailed in their codex of law.

I focus, instead, upon you, Special Agent.

I have a question for you. What is worse? The Pirate Copperhead, who prowls the Californian trade lanes honest about his trade. Or a hypocritical Police Officer, his pockets stuffed with ill-gotten cash from his latest seizure, waving the Liberty Constitution and saying it is his right?

Look to your own forces, your own officers admit that there is corruption there. Some of them have even witnessed colleagues who have failed to destroy Cardamine cargoes, instead hauling them aboard for resale.

If you are afraid of my propaganda, if you fear my ancestors tears, then perhaps you should get a roll of scotch tape and put the constitution of yours back together. Maybe then my propaganda won't have any bite.
