Need modding Help

Ok so I finally got SWGB saga, and went to heavengames to get some mods....some are good some are decent, most of the ones i want are horrible....


However I was searching their forum in hopes of finding an answer on what editors they use to make models, and make mods....and ultimately failed, there was reference to Genie Editor, but i cant find it in the utilities section



With that said, all i am trying/wanting to do, is take an existing unit in the game: In particular, the Landed Republic Assualt Ship (RAS) and make it....Scale size, and delete some of the junk around it.

On an advanced note, i want to eventually make a scale landed republic venator cruiser, and have it replace maybe a fortress...and have it be able to build units/garrison



with that said, what Free/Trial Programs can i use that will let me do this, and let me make a .mpi file....and once i do, how i can i make it work with the zaynar mod installer?



Note: People with modding experience prefered, and particularly helpful people shall recieve credits from me in game.
