Admin notice: Cheating

This notice serves as a reminder that cheating on the server is not allowed. Cheating includes installing speed mods or any other mod that gives you an unfair advantage over other players.

Exceptions to this are wide screen mods or the GLS workaround.

The reasons for this are:
- Cheating gives an unfair advantage to some players - it's not nice.
- Cheating crashes the server.
- Cheating causes lag.

If you are caught cheating your punishment will vary from 60 days to a permanent server ban. Your characters will be deleted. The admins of many servers talk to each other - you may find yourself banned from multiple Freelancer servers.

If you accidentally enable a speed mod then disconnect immediately and disable the speedmod. We tend to ignore a person that shows up once in the logs for a only few seconds, but if we notice you a second time you will be banned.

Cheating is not allowed, don't do it.
