where people are wrong is :

they think battleships are easy.

the point is - the learning curve for a battleship is MUCH steeper than ANY other ship in the game. - you can master a bomber easily ( its like playing a game on novice level ) - you can master a light fighter easy ( like playing on medium ) - you can do well in most VHF after some practice ( like plaiyng on hard ) - but plaiyng a capital ship is not playing on "very easy" as some ppl might think... its like playing on "very hard".

Bomber is like playing on "novice" level? ehh

Jinx I have fought you a few times and your bomber skills are rather average - so you don't even master the novice level? - this is not meant as an offense merely to point out that you'r taking things out of context a bit here.

Bomber against a stationary BS is "novice" level yes, bomber against a properly moving GB 1vs1 is hard to insane level depending on the gb pilot. Then off course you have all the other ships you can fight.

LF - you can stay alive in it yes, actually killing something is a whole different matter
VHF - I certainly wouldn't say that staying alive in a VHF in a fighter fight is harder than in a bomber

But yes you are right that capships need skill, to put it very simply:

For flying a bomber/vhf/lf you need to be able to turn/dodge (relatively easy to learn and extends your life very fast) and aim(hard to learn).

For flying a capship (cruiser/bs) you need most of all to be able to aim (which as mentioned above is hard).
