What NPC faction to choose?

Pirate ID, freelancer IFF, fly a civ bomber, that's the best way to do all that in RP in one char. All the RP is on you though with no vanilla to fall back on really, so be prepared to do some thinking.

As for the shiplist, get a program like FLstat, no one is going to make a list before the final version comes out as changes are still being made and who wants to have to risk having to re-write the whole thing.

And guard rep are upped by doing missions mostly, if you want to up it for a missionless faction that changes from one to the next so i cant help with that really.
