In closing, you have probably never run a faction, nor belonged to one, but presume to tell us how we should run ours and how we should be regulated.
*grins* True that. I ran around on my LPI and spotted that some Xenos were online after they joined in the fight. After the dust settled they were dead and I was still alive.
Solution? Log out my LPI and login my Xeno to go run with them for a while.
But! Derkylos hit the nail that I was about to try for right on the head. One of the things that keeps us going as a community is branching out. We can be a pretty inbred lot, but it really cuts down on animosity.
For example, if the Xenos and the LN had zero out of cockpit interaction a long stream of losses/etc might eventually lead to bad feelings. This was witnessed rather poignantly between ourselves and the LSF at one point, actually. But now when I'm ganked by David Hale I know exactly who that jerk is and I can laugh about it with him afterwards, especially when we both login characters Z and fly together.
Reduction in being worked up over a fight, as Derk so poignantly put it, is really the medicine we can supply ourselves with to keep things happy and going.
For example of how it can go wrong, see any thread where Dab and Mjolnir are both participating:lol:
