There are several levels of racism, some of it is almost innocent (as one Afro-American friend of mine says:''Dunno what pisses me off more - people that come forward and spit in my face or those that come to me and say 'I understand YOU PEOPLE, I know that you suffered a lot) and some of it is quite malignant and omnipresent.

Point is that it all begins with discrimination, positive or negative one.
Having race-based institutions (and an faction is an institution in Sirius) would eventually lead to discrimination and that could lead to a lot of trouble. As long as it's RP-wise that's fine but when somebody is throwing quite personal insults at you and then follows with something like that - how can you tell the difference?

In the original game everybody are talking accent-free English. We took it to higher level by throwing in accents and names and all sorts of folklore in order to give it more charm and make it more interesting.
I fully agree there's nothing offensive in that. Not once have I said that there is something wrong with that I just wanted make sure everybody got the faction name right.

P.S. As of yesterday I erased all of my HAF chars due to personal reasons, so I am not longer entitled to discuss about this. With this post I'd like to sign off this topic and get back to having good fun. That is all this game is about, is it not now?
