I'm surprised that you can afford to sell the food that cheaply, given the food issues in Kusari and the traditional methods of farming being too expensive, hence your beef with Synth Foods ruining all the prices;)But yes, the Farmers Alliance would obviously stay neutral/friendly-ish with the Corsairs. They don't really need the alliance though. After all, you want to keep the Corsairs out of Kusari as well as the Outcasts, not simply trade one enemy for another.

The issue is not a scarcity of food. We have more product than we know what to do with. Farms in Kusari that have been operation for generations are shutting down because the demand for Kusari grown food has decreased since the introduction of Synthfood into the market. Meaning that it has become less profitable to produce the food and sell it in Kusari. The Corsairs are the perfect solution, that have a huge demand for food, and while most think that the Corsairs are poor, because they dint have enough food, that is not true, the Corsairs are some of the most prolific pirates in Sirius, meaning they have money, just not food, making the relations between the FA and Corsairs fairly logical. The FA provide food to the Corsairs, which feeds the Corsairs, as well as give a new big markets for Kusari food. In exchange for these deals the Corsairs stay out of Kusari, and allow the Hogosha and FA deal with the Corsairs enemies in Kusari, which just so happen to be the same people the FA and Hogosha are already fighting.
