Ok, in a RP environment, it is unlikely that you will be able to backup your story for getting it, other than " I was burning hull thru nomad space, and found a group of monkey people. they thought i was their savior and gave me their most prized possession." I'm not arguing about the weps or the shields. I know how little damage/sec they do. The problems is, you can't get back on them. They can stay behind you, so that little damage/sec eventually starts adding up. It's the speed and maneuverability that i'm concerned about. I've proved this in MW4, you can have the lightest mech in the game, and as long as you have one decent gun, against anything but a drop ship, you can eventually kill them because they can't touch you.

btw. why would you use codenames when u can use solaris....damage/sec isn't as high but with refire ratio and projectile speed, you have a greater chance of landing more damaging shots.
