Additionally, I think perhaps adding in a Corsair base in the ice field that contains the Omega 5 jumphole *or* adding a Corsair base into the field that contains the New London jumphole is probably a better idea that renaming/relocating Lisburn Rock.

As with the idea of putting a Molly base in Edinburgh, it'd be redundant. Not only do the Corsairs have plenty of bases already, but they have a huge one (Cadiz) in Omega-5, not more than 12k from the Cam JH. It takes a Corsair about 30 seconds to go from Cadiz to being inside Cambridge.. So what point would a base in that field have? It'd simply be yet another base to make yet another trade route for. It wouldn't help RP in any way, nor does it serve any other purpose other than a place 30 seconds closer to dock. Oh, and making Cadiz never get used anymore.

And for the field with the NL JH.. Do you honestly think Corsairs could ship enough goods through Cambridge to build a base on the other side of it without BAF, BPA, or the Mollys hearing of it? Once they do, Hessians find out from Mollys, and Corsairs are in a real bind. Not to mention supplying it would be a nightmare. On top of that, its still only one jump from their base in Omega-5.

Lastly the Corsairs can easily dock on Trafalgar if they need to be in New London. In Edinburgh they have Islay, the Gaian base. In Omega-3 is a Freeport. In Magellan is also a Freeport, owned by IMG (not unfriendly..). In Omega-49 is a Zoner base and planet where Corsairs can dock, and a heavy Corsair NPC population. In Dublin is the Hood. I don't see much of a problem in Corsairs finding places to dock while in Bretonia..
