And for the field with the NL JH.. Do you honestly think Corsairs could ship enough goods through Cambridge to build a base on the other side of it without BAF, BPA, or the Mollys hearing of it? Once they do, Hessians find out from Mollys, and Corsairs are in a real bind. Not to mention supplying it would be a nightmare. On top of that, its still only one jump from their base in Omega-5.

Supplying or building unlawful bases anywhere inside lawful territory would be a nightmare in real terms. I think we just have to be open-minded and assume it is possible for the sake of the game mechanics to work.

Putting a corsair base somewhere in Bretonia is sensible, as they have a presence there, and can't really go on just using freeports and junkers, who are not all that happy allowing corsair invasion fleets to base themselves from their bases
