Roddy and Rita

[Qunitinius~Verginix]

Start Part 6! OOC: I know, its just a small time space between part 5 and 6 but they were originally going to be just 1. I ran outta time cause they were so large >.<

Six of the Inquisition henchmen died in that many seconds. Monstrosities swarm all around them. Roddy fired again and again, each of his shots cause another creature to fall, its chest no longer there.

A creature jumped. Roddy's sword swung. The things top half was seperated and the floor was slick with dark blood. He quickly truned and fired upon a monster that was about to decapitate one of his storm troopers. It quickly fell and the trooper turned to thank him but a large spike grew from his mid section and with a strangled-yep over the comms, he dissapeared into the black.

A creature jumped from the darkness at him and he pulled the trigger on his Hecuter 9 tachyon pistol, but it buzzed and did nothing. He threw it at the monstrosity and slashed with his mighty blade and his helmt fizzed with hot blood.

He quickly rolled under a pair of scything talons and stabed upwards, satisfied with the crunch. A mangled Stroom trooper lay infront of him, three beast ravonously mauling the corpse. Roddy slew each of them in turn and picked up the Inquisition Brand Vengence MK VI Hellfire-frequency Laser Rifle beside the red mass.
He placed his fore-finger on the firing-stud and aimed into the black. The light on the gun shone on a thing that was readsy to jump. Roddy fired and it flew back, more so by the light gravity.

He methodical swped back and forth, killin the monsters left and right. Something dropped on him from above and then with another shot, it slumped down, crushing Roddy. The last surving two storm troops and the only scientist left had killed it. The scientisted pushed the heavy creature off as the troopers fired their Rifles.

"Arlight!" Said Roddy, and fired at a wing thing leaping at them, "Let's kill as many of them as we can before we go down! Charge!"

"Aknowleged my lord!" They said in unison!

Roddy turned and shot. He shot and killed so many of them that he began to lose track of time. It had become monotonus, they ran towards them, and they killed. The battery on his gun was slowly dying, as as he struggled to replace it, the light shone into the back of the vast Auditorium.

He gasped, somethign massive had been awoken from the fighting, something soo masive it almost reached the roof. It strode forward and the last storm trooper and the scientist. shot with their weapons. The powerful top-secret lasers were puny against its massive bulk and with a swipe, it cleft the scientist in two. It reacxhed for Roddy, but he was already one step ahead. He droped the useless weapon and drew his sword. In a singled motion he sliced one of the beats many claws off.

The creature swung with another one and he moved to pary. It hit is sword with such fored that would ahve killed him if had had not rolled just before the impact. Roddy stabed and and his blade go stcuk in the wrists of the monster. It bellowed and lifted Roddy into the air, as he was still holding blade, refusing to show fear and let go. Down on the ground he saw the smalled beats overrun the last surviving trooper.

He knew that this was the time that he would die, and that he had failed in his search for Rita and in his mission as an Inquisitor. The beast swung its arms and Roddy and the blade both landed hard and skidded near the wall. He impaced with a crunch on the wall and he fell several Ribs and other important bones break.

The monster stomped over to him and he looked up straight into its cold remorsless eyes and accepted his death. Just as the thign was about to decapitate him with a set of talons, a missle stuck it on the side of the face and it toppled over, dead. Roddy saw lasers flashing and saw three tall figures with heavy machine guns slung low, killing the creatures.

Roddy stood up feelbely, and and limped towards the figures. A monster stood in his way, but it was cut down by the appreacxe of a figure with a rocket launcher and another with a shotgun. They beconed to him and he moved as fast as he could to teh door in which they appeared from.

He walked through and the machine gunners dashed in after and sealed the door.

The leader of the rescuers, switched his comms to the open channel.

"Well," he said in a gruff voice, "Wadda we got's our selves 'ere boys? No need fer names, I be part of the RAH, or the Resitance Against Helghast. We 'ave been traped on dis Hulk fer about a month now, and only recenlty 'ave we had the forture on it driftin' to this 'ere sigma 17 system."

"What were those, things?!" Said Roddy in disgust."

"Them? Oh they be naugh but the demons. They dont need ter breath or anything like us mortal have ter do. They live out 'ere in space, and posses unfortunate souls and they come and they kill us and eat us just because they can! Now, we jsut finished manager ter salvage the last remains of our shuttle and finaly rebuild the blasted thing! Mind you, it's wont last long! Just enough ter get us back ter headqauters; Vekta station in the system Helghan. Follow us!

Roddy started to say something but he was guided by the other troopers, all wearing tinted Helmets. They couldn't see him through his mask either. They walked for a few minutes before the leader said something. "These 'ere parts are the only bits of da ship that dont have the demons runnin' through dem. We have been in the data-banks room for the whole time, manager ter salvage some pretty good stuff from what we could find, heh heh. It's all waitin' on board the shuttle, along wit the rest of ther crew! we were about ter leave utnil a few felt sorry for leaving you Inquisitive bunch to die! Feel honoured!"

They entered a small bay, where a ramshackle armoured transport was berthed. I was ushered abored and the hatch closed.

"Alright mate," The leader said after a few minutes of quite conversation with his peers on a seperate channel "We know yer one of those mighty Inquisitor Lords. We also brought ye on this little jaunt through the Void to show ye something. After we took off, quite soomth for this old gal by the way, we sent a message to yer ship. They are headed to the Unkown system to rendevous with us."

"You see, the Helghast, as I'm sure ye know who they are, They are building somethin', something massive and powerful. we belive that they are startin' a massive fleet, with the power to transform worlds into the disgustin' soup that they breath, and exterminatin' all of the other 'umans."

"But, how can this be? I always thought they were harmless pirates and raiders!"

"No! they be far mroe then that, me friend! Ye see, they 'ave a hug civilisation, spaning an entire star system! They hail from the death world, Helghan. We were once brentonia explorers, charting the un-discovered southern' systems. we found the Helghast many generations ago and they enslaved us on their orbital factories! Eventually, some managed to get off the sations and they formed a resitance, build on the hidden asteroid base of Vekta, deep in the Heart of system Helghan!"

A rumble interrupted his speach as they passed through either a jump-hole for gate, then, Roddy felt the impacts of many Asteroids against the ship.

"Now, me friend, I was sent to the giant hulk about a month ago with a small team, to try and salvage weapons and other usefull precussor tidbits. we got trapped on the damned craft by those space demons and it floated ter the sigma 17 system! Me team and I were glad in a way, that finaly after many years of searching secretly avoid nomads and Helghast and such, we had found the Inquisition. Ye be the ones we 'ave been wanting ter find! If any of the 'ouses found out about this, it would cause an uproar!"

"Ye inquisition mates, ye have been secretive all the time, so we are taking you to our Leader on Vekta station. Our new leader isn't a decended of us, but they were trapped in system Helghan and have seen to our Plight."

The ship rumbled again, and they pased through another jumpe hole.

"Now, ye want to be resting now, we still have a few more hours to go!"

Roddy lay down against his chair and soon fel into a well-needed, dreamless slumber.

He woke to the shaking of the leader of the party. He had his helmet of now adn Roddy could see that the gruff voice matched the man's appearance. he bore many scars from bygone combats.

"Now mate, ye best be goin' off ter see the leader! Right this way!"

Roddy was lead off the ship and along many corridors of what must have been Vekta station. Roddy thought it reminded him of Buffalo station, when he and Rita had been neutral to the rouges and had stopped in for Supplies....

Rita!

"Hey sir!" He said quickly, remember a question. "Do you by chance know of anyone name Rita? She had a ship, the jammy Dodger."

"Were 'ere mate," said the Man "Rita you say? Well mate, I think our leader may now something about that now! 'ere we are!"

He stopped at a lagre ornate door. Roddy struggled with his helmet, and took it off finaly. Taking a very large breath of Fresh air, he walked towards the door, know he was a step close to finding Rita.

"Don't ye forget mate, to get her to tell you all about the Helghast plot! we need the power of the Inquisition!"

Roddy took heed of his words and pushed open the door and stopped in mid breath. there, sitting at the Desk infront of a Window overlooking a dark purple cloud, was Rita.

Now, I know that the mysterois guy's speech was really supposed to be more consitant but its hard to write that way! Im gonna go though it later and fix it but Im tired right now *yawn*
