Gunboat thoughts...

it was a byproduct while i worked on another ship - but.. why exactly is it weird to jump to a gunboat? - gunboats are the lowest grade "jacks of all traits" ships..

and gaians can get the civi line - but would have trouble aquiring a gunboat from their only gunboat-producing allies ( corsairs ) ... the other ally ( farmers ) doesn t have one.

so a gunboat was really a logical idea. - now you can say "alright, give it to the farmers then" - but does it change anything?

edit: that means - right now, gaians have a GB, farmers have a bomber. - usually the gaians can use the bomber if they like ( and have guard faction with the farmers ) and the farmers can buy the gunboat ( and don t even need guard faction - now aren t the gaians nice? )

if the gunboat went to the GC however - gaians wouldn t be able to use it anymore, cause they are enemies to the GC - not too fair from the gaians point of view i daresay.
