' Wrote:so the question is - should the canon RPers have power over the players that disrupt gameplay? ( note that i haven t mentioned the terms factionized or independent )
now - don t you think THAT that would a FAIR request? no matter if you fly with a faction tag or not, - if you re an idiot and disrupting gameplay, you ll be punished. ( mind, we have an official rule for that actually )
Yes, it would. And that's actually what I do want.
Sheesh.. tell me a time when a member of an official faction did something like camping West Point with a dessie and got away with it? Such actions merit a hard slap from the faction's leader, and if not that, and if such cases happen from an official faction, trust me, it wouldn't remain an official one for much longer.
The gameplay of factions is the one that's most looked upon and judged if they misbehave.
I think we all know that getting officiality isn't a one time deal after which you can forget about satisfying a threshold of gameplay quality.
And if a member of one official faction does something befitting an idiot, by all means, post in that faction's feedback thread, and I swear to God almighty, I'll support you even if one of my own factions is the one being complained against.
I do hate to sounds stereotypical, and I really do try not to, and that's not my intention, but truth be told, most of the disruptive incidents are caused by indie players, and not cause they are indie, but simply cause they heavily outnumber faction characters. It's a question of probability, a game of numbers.
And trust me when I say this, that I despise anyone from any "side" playing the victim and complaining how it's aaaaalways hard for them, and so easy for everyone else.
