Konncihiwa honorable Artisan Farmers, I am Fujiwara Kakeru. My first name literally means Wisteria fields, a genus of woody, climbing vines native to Kusari. My parents named me after it because of where we lived on Planet Honshu; We were surrounded by fields and fields of this wisteria plant. My last name on the other hand, translates into flight, which from what my father told me, came from our ancestors belief that we evolved from the Peregrine Falcon, a species of falcon from the Old-Earth.

Whilst on the topic of my father, he was a farmer, a very noble and experienced one at that. Our home was right next door to the farm, so we always got to taste the wonders of his produce. However this all began to change, as im sure you were aware. With the opening of a Synth food franchise in the very town that my dad supplied his produce to, we were hit hard. At first it was only a small decrease in profit, but it gradually went further and further down, before my father was forced to sell his farm in order to make up the difference. But it did not stop there, because my father, the main source of our families income, had lost his farm we were unable to continue paying the high rent on the house. We were forced to downgrade to small urban house in the city centre of Honshu, surrounded and reminded of the very thing that brought us here in the first place, Synth foods. My father, who is now attending support groups, whilst battling depression and alcohol was never and still isnt the same man as he was. This "Synth foods" has ruined my life, taken away the house that I loved, and ruined my father. Now all I wish to do is help the other farmers, I do not wish for them to go through what I have gone through. That is when I heard about you, the Artisan farmers, I wish to join your ranks.
