Sirs,
My name is Fyn Adler, son of Daumann executives Jonas and Marie Adler. Since the death of my parents, I have lived comfortably on the inheritance of their estate, but foolish investments recommended by guardian has lead to the need for me to find work.
I offer my services to aid the security of my homeland, and the enforcement of law. I offer to enrol in the pilot training program, if you'll have me. I admit I currently have no piloting experience, but am hoping to learn from the best pilots in the fatherland.

Fyn knew they would never accept him; the Sirius-wide recession was biting deep into Rhineland. He had lost his father's fortune in an investment in a Diamond shipment that had fallen foul of the Hessians, and now found himself living out of the back of his Valkyrie.
Spending on public services had been cut by the Chancellor; the police wouldn't have the money to waste on training would-be-pilots. Employment seemed even less likely, as Fyn knew the police would treat him with suspicion; for a time, he had been held as a suspect for his parents' deaths.

----------Diary Entry----------
Today I sent applications to numerous companies and organisations; even the police. No-one has jobs, but It's my only hope. All I have left is my ship, and if I sell that, I know I'll be doomed to a life in a minimum wage job on some rock.
I know jobs are scarce, and I know no-one wants some spoilt kid with no qualifications or skills; there are thousands of men and women on the dole these days, and I don't deserve any better than them.
I've been doing mercenary work, mostly for RFP, out of Hamburg for the past few weeks. I'm having to go for the low-paid work; I tried a tougher mission last week, and barely escaped with my life, let alone any pay.
Hamburg's been good to me, but I think sooner or later, I'll have to go elsewhere; perhaps if I meet some of these employers face to face, they'll be convinced to take me on. I know my past is holding me back, but if I don't find work soon, I'm done for.
