New Berlin. A dangerous place to be for someone of my descent in these days, but I've been trained well to hide my origin. And now, I could virtually blend in everywhere thanks to the gifts 'they' gave me.

Yeah. 'They'. The Nomads, or K'Hara, as the more educated person calls them. I've been serving them for nearly three years now, and I can't say I don't like it. Waiting here in these docks makes me nervous. I never liked being in a crowd, and it got worse after I became what I am now. I can't tell why; maybe it is guilt? No. I have left such things behind me. I shouldn't concern myself over such things.
