FLstat displays only 1 out of about 9 indicators that are important for ship "agility" in game.

Most notably it uses only up/down turning and nothing more.

This is most misleading for new Battleships which were changed to turn faster in the "flatter" direction.

So using Flstat BHG BS indeed turns at 0.14 (rad/s) up/down and seems like the slowest BS ever, yet it also turns at 0.4 left/right which is as fast as BHG BC and faster than some cruisers.

Generally I'd recommend you test the ship first before checking any numbers, as it's very easy to let yourself influence by them.

Ok, so apart from group fight testing, 1v1 testing takes precendence. A couple of methods to remember to test before you jump to conclusions:

* Test a match-up three times in a row, always. Then switch ships with your partner and test it another three times. Always use RP loadouts. If a result is uncertain, try a different partner.
* Test a ship in a "chase fight" to see how hard it is to hit when dodging around. In a chase fight the ship in question should simply dodge while the other tries to hit it.
* Compare ship sizes to each other by positioning next to each other and taking screenshots. If you think a particular ship is too small, get a different ship, position it next to the other one and take a screenshot, then post on forums.


Try to keep to these guidelines as best as possible. Once you are done testing, post a thread on the forums with the results, mentioning the participants, results and possible fixes specifically.

In other words, don't post here just because you lost a fight an hour ago. Test things properly, then talk.

Now i just went for a quick fight against one of these with my New Corsair GB

- that is not enough.
