More then 5 caracters

When you first use the internet multiplayer in Freelancer, your game creates an 'account'.

This is essentially a string of numbers and letters that lets servers identify YOU uniquely. It means you can always log in to a server and your details (Characters etc) are still there. The server assigns those characters to that account code.

The most you can have per server are 5 characters.
From what I know, this is either hardcoded (IE, not changable without the games source code, which no one has) or can cause corruption of files if it is higher than 5.


So if you can only have 5 characters per server per account code.
Why not have another account code? (Or account, whatever way you phrase it)
This then allows you to have more than 5 characters, but you have to keep switching account codes etc.

Freelancer Account Manager is a program that does this for you in an easy way.
