*breaths in heavily* It's a toughy...A corsair doing his own thing next to a BH doing his own thing is considered oorp. So not engaging is quite oorp, id expect the BH to engage, but not with just "engaging." Ive had this happen to me many times like this one time I was in alpha with my corsair, I strarted RPing with a couple of OCs and without a word they just came and attacked me full on with supernovas while I was not even moving (dishonorable) and owned me :(. Ive also done it a couple of times I guess, its hard to know how much RP people want untill PVP.
