Perhaps I should clarify: In my opinion, using several words to describe the same thing is usually a more precise way of communicating and is always my approach, I rarely use emoticons. We communicate with informal languages, however, so we cannot expect everything to be precise and more precise is not always more better.

In my experience, people have generally managed to ignore people who insist on not accomodating other peoples' roleplay. I have never had any real problems with OORP behaviour, merely sporadic inconvenience -- of course, I haven't been in the positions that many others have been. Therefore, I have little experience to draw on for these posts, but until I find otherwise, I will continue to be in favor of friendly, tolerant, and subjective individual case resolution.
