' Wrote:And to Noobl3t, from your harsh reactions to this thread its' easy to see you consider yourself a good roleplayer, and I don't doubt that for a second. But perhaps instead of fighting a trivial battle against a thread like this you could be one of the ones who set an example of good roleplay to those that need it. If a good roleplayer refuses to sign such a registration out of some petty disagreement on views, then what kind of example does that set to everyone else? Discovery is a roleplaying community and we have to work together to make it a better place.
I consider myself to have an RP which is sufficient enough to integrate into the community and role-play without any adverse affects to non-powergaming entities on the server.
I have already addressed why my response is not trivial and petty.
Furthermore, perhaps for the purpose of highlighting ignorance, my LNS is registered in Joe's thread. Setting a good example however, is not writing a ten thousand page story on the forums, nor is it stringing together a paragraph in a registry topic, it is role-playing properly in-game, and any of the ideas proposed in this thread fail to see that. (My Bretonian ship was also registered, when Unselie had a voluntary registry going. Joe's thread had more complex reasons for my name being added.)
