Despite the issue of my ID in other topics, i call myself a CORSAIR (all capital letters, for the blind) and ofcourse i am biased to Corsair pov. I do respect NFZ. I also would respect whole 49 as NFZ.
Not long ago i mapped 47, 49 and 50, because of my curiosity.
First 47 bugged me, because i had to pass Hessian base close to the Corsair path from 41 to 49. First thing i thought was, 47 could need a rearrangement, placing both Hessian bases north. Even move the 47 JH in Omega 5 closer to Ronneburg. Another opportunity is to give Casablanca back to Corsair. It was Corsair base once and it could have been conquered back.
Because of the strange arrangement in 47 it was said, strong Corsair presence in O49 makes no sense, but Mindelo in 50 makes sense, using same supply path through 47 and 49 and therefore need presence in 49 to protect the supply route?
I'm also pleased with a "deal" Dab mantioned which will be suspended by Zoner Council. Fact is, a deal is signed by both sides and if one side suspends the deal a compensation has to be paid for the other side. In the matter of O49 the compensation would not be unexpensive i guess.
My and only my suggestion would be, Corsair population of GC will return to core Corsair ground. A lot of new bases in 91 and 94 needs to be populated. A small part populates Casablanca in 47 again and another small part moves to 50 to reinforce Mindelo. Leave a strong Corsair patrol presence between O47 JH and O50 JH, including the eastern cloud with the water dropping asteroids. Then, if not whole 49 is NFZ, Corsair can conduct, what they can best, taxing anyone in O49 outside NFZ's. I'm in doubt, but if Zoners get any trouble with another faction, Corsair can chuckle and watch.
