Independent Capital ships vs Factions

They're aggressive, and most of the times they are the actual attackers. How can I ignore them? Log out ? Do I really have to be forced to do that ? By such players?

Think about it.

No you are not forced to log out. The alternative is to sit there and get ganked.

(Do you really want to play that character at this point in time? You have Order, BAF, OC and BHG characters at least. Switch.)
