People have "pooled" into four systems. New York, Gamma, New Berlin, and New Tokyo. Yes other still move around, but these are the systems where people are "hanging out". Bretonia is like a ghost town. When I am on there is hardly anyone there ever. It used to be a happening place, but like I said, maybe it is only when I am on.

A big part of that is that inventive role play (no matter how well thought out) is usually rules lawyered by players not liking it, reported as a sanctionable offense to admins who often compromise by simply interpreting the letter of the law. It's easier to sit in one space, hang out with the same people and never stretch anything so you don't get in trouble or have a flame in-game. So players concentrate in their favorite areas and do little outside of it.

No one's in Bretonia (they are more often now) cause half the characters in the game aren't allowed to go there. No one leaves most areas cause many of their main chars have the same restrictions.

Traders and pirates and Junkers are the only ones moving around nowadays. Everyone else is camped.
