Also I would like to say that there are other people that want to do something like this and have been thinking about it much longer than you. I could introduce them to you if you like.
Finally, Igiss will probably never include a dock able planet for a faction that is player conceived. Sorry, just dont think it will happen, hasn't happened yet. Igiss has a plan for the theme and progression of this mod and what you are doing will never be more than a tangent. At least this is the impression I am under based on my experience here.
As example I would like to site the SCRA and =CR=. They both have some pretty good RP backgrounds. They are long standing player factions with many respected members and continual presence. Neither has a dockable planet. I'm not saying your idea is impossible, just saying it will not be at all easy, and very likely, will not be possible. This is not necessarily a good reason not to try though.
thank you! yeah i thought zoners initially, was just trying to fill a player faction gap with choosing freelancer.
Im not too worried about whether Igiss gives dockable planets and such, striving for something is not the same as achieving it and i think it would be great to roleplay. i suspect we would end up bumping heads with the order and getting squashed anyway, but thats not to say citizens of sirus wouldnt try for independace somewhere. its in our nature to think the grass is greener on the other side.
getting what we want isnt the goal of the clan, but trying to get it is...and its been said that 'its been thought of before' but for your average joe who appears in penny, there isnt much plot they see cept miners doing their own thing and the occasional pirate coming to rob them of their hard earned cash.
im sure there is quite a bit of action goin around it just seems i keep missing it and i like the idea of a bunch of us having a border skirmish with the neighbors.
