Since this is the thread for this, rather than starting another one, can I ask one simple thing?

Can the NPC's please STOP shooting from beyond your visual range?

You know what I mean - the cap ships have weapons that reach 3k or further. But NPC's don't show up on your scanners until you're at 2.5k from them. I was just cruising along having some RP with a guy in Delta earlier this week, in my battlecruiser - and suddenly I'm watching my shields just crumble. Then I got CD'd by the fighter escorts of that Osiris that shot me without me even being able to see it. And then a second Osiris patrol spawned, and I just went away...

Like the other guys say that have RP reasons to be out in the boondocks - you get two patrols of npc fighters on you, and you're screwed.
