On a side note I do encourage all independent junkers to put the [Junker] Vanilla tag in front
of their name, so that "we" junkers can find each other easily and also be easy to contact by
potential employers without having the "troubles" and work that the membership in an official
player-faction often brings with it.

Pardon the off-topic here, but what "troubles and work" do you mean, exactly? Far as I know, the official faction is extremely easygoing with its expectations in regards to participation and player prowess. The only time any extra hassle enters the picture in the Congress is when people bring their own troubles into it, and I have to privately dispense the Schoolmaster's Hand.

Unless you mean that I encourage ship loadouts that won't get you shot if you stumble into the wrong faction's blockade, not going to some ridiculous end of the universe without good reason, and the exercising of a bit of forethought before shooting a Gateway transport in front of Fleet Admiral Percy Nelles 5k from New London.

I second the encouragement for people to do what they like. Join an existing faction, stay independent or even form a new one. But there isn't any real work or worry involved in joining my faction, aside from that we'll likely take forever to review your app as we happen to be lazy and/or busy people.
