' Wrote:@DataPhreak: I know, i'm new here, but your suggestion is violating server rules. ID tag and equipment must match closely. Falcata with Tizonas is prohibited.

Not true, a freelancer can use Tiznonas, with appropriate roleplay. A freelancer can use a Falcata. Per Tech Use Chart. Perhaps, a freelancer running around in a Lane Hacker gunship, or a Barghest, with a corsairs tag will be more palatable. You can use it, it just means that the faction will be after you. Then, any lawful will try to run you off, for being a pirate. Any unlawful will attack you, either because you have one of their ships without their permission, or have a tag that belongs to their enemies. Hell, just an outcast ship with a corsairs tag would probably get that done.

Either way, the previous post was sarcasm. The point was, if you don't make 1 thing the deciding factor in engagement rights, then the bloodthirsty non-rp types can use it to entice engagements, and the rules Lolyer Lawfuls who do nothing but sit around, say.... london, will use it to attack other freelancers, because they are bored. This has happened, and does still, on a frequent basis.

Bottom line, ID first. RP second. Ship, rep, eq don't count for squat, or else, lawfuls can go around shooting every Merc in a Crow because they are flying a pirate ship.

We need 600m/s and 700m/s Debilitators.
