He then shot him in the kneecap with one of his pistols as he kept the other trained on Aleksandrov.
He didn't pause to take in the look on Adrian Koslov's face as it contorted with pain.

He turned to Weise in a drunken rage,

He suppressed a scream of rage as he holstered one of his two pistols and took not only the offered cigar, but also the rest from the prone individual offering them, this Kirill Aleksandrov fellow.
He lit himself and Commander Weise a cigar each, after sniffing for explosives (That being an old LSF technique), speaking to Aleksandrov while continuing to wave a large gun around and taking puffs of the cigar,
