COMM ID: Chief Arbiter Hannibal Bishop LOCATION: (scrambled) RECIPIENT: Nathan Black, Azure Line Shipping SUBJECT: Purchase, use of CSV-2 vessels
Salutations;
Our shipwrights appreciate your interest in the purchase of our vessels. The Collector is a marvel of engineering, being a sound salvage and cargo vessel with combat capacities that rival state-of-the-art streamlined war fighters.
Due to past trade relations with Azure Line Shipping, we authorize the ALS to purchase their required number of these ships. However, several conditions apply:
Registration
- The design of the CSV-2 is a guarded secret. Callsigns and registrations must be provided to the Congress for the sake of record keeping. Proper Use
- Do not use these ships to cause harm to Junkers. These are the pinnacle of Junker engineering, and as such they are the pride of our shipyards. Use of these ships to cause injury to those that built it will result in the realization that those that created the Collector also know the most efficient means of destroying it. Design Secrecy
- Do not let the CSV-2 fall into the hands of parties with interests contrary to the Junkers. There are failsafe countermeasures in place inside the ship that render reverse-engineering extremely difficult and dangerous. Attempts to disassemble certain modules without qualified Junker technicians present can and will result in plasma field containment failure.
You will pardon the delay in the authorization of this purchase. You have my blessing, and my assurance that the Collector is an engineering masterpiece.
