To further reinforce that today is crazy day I agree with Zelot entirely.

There's a lot of hoops to jump through in order to reach Gamma proper and the venture itself would accomplish little more than re-define the concept of suicide.

Between sneaking past Cadiz, Leon and then slipping into Gamma with a handful of snub craft while you folks are floundering under the burden of a war you're on the losing side of... Yeaaaah...

That being said I reckon that the Corsairs wouldn't mind if you paid them a visit in 5 or doing cleanup work in Omega 3!

That had, in fact, been the idea, Dusty. I have to caution everyone at this point not to misinterpret our faction as being an excuse to launch raids and zergs on Omicron Gamma. Rather, we intend to strike at the Corsair Empire's borders first, then gradually work our way past their outer defenses. Our ultimate goal is laying siege to Planet Crete, but the crusaders realize that the Corsair Empire is massive and elaborately defended, if not populated by particularly competent pilots. It's hardly "redefining the concept of suicide" to assault and besiege outlying Corsair outposts.

"Sneaking past" bases such as Cadiz and Leon is exactly what the crusade proposes not to do. We intend to take the fight against the Corsairs right to their own door, and that effort begins by breaching the Corsairs' border defenses. Honestly, what we're proposing is completely feasible - both in terms of player base and abstract roleplay, the average Corsair isn't exactly an ace pilot. A determined, courageous, and well-trained pilot host could accomplish what the Order proposes.

The constructive criticism is that Bretonia is under invasion, I cant imagine they would be wasting ships that could be on the front, in Gamma, suicidally going after Corsairs. Bretonain RP at the moment should be about fighting off the threat to the very existence of the House.

Ah, now that I can work with. You're right, of course - as I mention repeatedly throughout the faction document, Bretonia's budget (and, by extension, that of the Armed Forces) is stretched to the limit fighting the Kusari war engine. The BAF is, naturally, free to decide for themselves if we should be allocated Bretonian ships and, if so, how many.

Beyond that, the concepts I list under the History part of the doc state that technology we receive is largely either remaindered or the possessions of the individual crusaders, many of which are former BAF officers, many of which have served a tour of duty against Kusari (yet again, both in regard to players and in terms of abstraction - three of our members converted their BAF characters to Order of the Lion knights).
