Well I think the idea of a separate docking ring for Corsairs is an excellent idea and makes sense in RP. You dock at the zoner ring and you can enter the bar and meet Zoners, hunters and Sairs. You dock at the Sair ring adn you 'll only get Corsairs and Zoners in the bar. Zoner patrols need increased.
I do belive it is time that the Mollys discovered O-49. Some patrols around the jumphole to dublin would be good, just as would Hessina patrols around the O-47 jumphole. It makes no sense that with of these two groups have bases on the other sides of these holes yet have no patrols. I think that the Sair patrols could be cut back and the Bounty hunter ones also.
As for some RP. Well a few new news stories on Gran Canaria and Lazarote about the mollys and Hessians entering O-49 would suffice, with some coresponding ones on their bases just outside of O-49. We could even set up a few events with Mollys and Hessains wandering in and discovering this Zoner system.
As for the GMG being in O-49. If they want to take the chance to mine there..so be it. They have to take their chances just like anyone else.
I think the Zoners do "own" O-49 but the Corsairs do have the right to be there. No reason why we can not both make the area safe. Although we should both abide by any agreements that come up. There is pleanty of potential RP there and RP can make game changes in any direction.
Edit @ Mal- Yes I think after a decade there would be little toe-head Zoesairs running about. But even then I think the majority of the Corsairs would be still wanting to return to their home world and their own ways. The Corsairs are a proud people and would not let go of their heritage after such short a time
