Slaves in a Pirate Train

They sure will. As I said I placed a {SU} Faction preference on an internal bay. The reasons for that is cheaper containment cells, and we don't have to spend money on putting them under, just food. It also grants a slaver the ability to weed out those with iron wills and throw them out the airlock, thus helping to break the others. (Something that you cannot due while sedated.)

There is nothing wrong with Pirate Train as a slave transport, and adding life support is certainly plausible, although potentially expensive. To the P-Train's benefit it does have armor plating around it pods, which can help adsorb radiation and weapons fire, which other trains do not.
